Warranty for Pure Electric E-Scooters

All Pure Electric E-Scooters include a 12 month warranty against original defects in material and workmanship from the date you physically receive the E-Scooter.

This covers the cost of labour and parts required to keep your e-scooter in proper working order for the 12 month warranty period.

You will need a copy of your proof of purchase for reference when making enquiries or warranty claims.

Warranty exclusions

You will be unable to use your warranty if:

  • The requested work is to repair consumable items which are not covered by warranty, these include: Tyres, innertubes, brake cables, brake pads, grips, bungs, rubber footpads and cosmetics (eg paint, decals and stickers).
  • The part submitted for repair or maintenance demonstrates signs of misuse or handling that is contrary to the instructions set out in the user manual. Including, but not limited to, inappropriate use or incorrect maintenance and storage, or signs of crash damage.
  • The submitted repair work is needed due to the E-Scooter having been involved in an accident or reckless / intentional damage.
  • The E-Scooter has been opened, disassembled or modified with non-licensed or non official parts, and/or by a non-Pure Electric qualified individual
  • The requested work is to repair normal wear and tear, surface or cosmetic damage
  • You do not have original proof of purchase that validates the E-Scooters warranty

If your Pure Electric E-Scooter has developed a fault within the first 12 months and you wish to make a warranty claim in-line with the guidance above, please contact our customer team at help@pureelectric.com with your order number (it will look like PS12345) or proof of purchase alongside the details of the issue you’re experiencing and we’ll be in touch to get the problem resolved.

 

Warranty for Pure Electric E-Bikes

 

If you purchased your Pure Electric E-Bike directly from Pure Electric and need to make a warranty claim, please contact our customer team at help@pureelectric.com with your order number (it will look like PS12345) alongside the details of the issue you’re experiencing and we’ll be in touch to get the problem resolved.

If you purchased your bike from an independent bike shop or another online retailer such as Argos, Very.co.uk, Freemans and Costco, your warranty is managed and owned by that dealer. You should contact them directly for any repairs required under warranty according to their terms and condition.

 

Warranty for Pure E-Bikes purchased directly from Pure Electric

All Pure E-Bikes include a statutory warranty against non-conformity defects in material and workmanship which begins on the date you physically receive your E-Bike.

Additionally, your purchase also includes a seller’s warranty starting on the same date as follows:

  • Electronic components, suspension forks or suspension units are covered by a 2-year warranty term for non-conformity
  • Frames and rigid forks are covered by a 3-year warranty term for non-conformity.

This covers the cost of labour and parts for repairing non-conformities.

Warranty exclusions

You will be unable to use your warranty if:

  • The part submitted for repair or maintenance demonstrates signs of misuse or handling that is contrary to the instructions set out in the user manual. Including, but not limited to, inappropriate use or incorrect maintenance and storage, or signs of crash damage.
  • The submitted repair work is needed due to the E-Bike having been involved in an accident or reckless / intentional damage.
  • The E-Bike has been opened, disassembled or modified with non-licensed or non official parts, and/or by a non-qualified individual
  • The requested work is to repair normal wear and tear, surface or cosmetic damage
  • You do not have original proof of purchase that validates the E-Bike warranty
