My e-scooter won’t turn on?

Let’s try the basics first (sometimes it’s a nice, easy fix!).

  1. First things first, check your e-scooter is definitely charged (Yes, we know… but you’d be surprised how often this is the solution! We’re only human, right?). The light on your charger will turn from red to green once the e-scooter is ready to use.
  2. If there’s no red or green light, there’s probably a problem with the charger. We can easily replace this for you if you get in touch (see further down)

  3. Once your scooter is fully charged, hold the On/Off button for three seconds.

Another reason why your e-scooter might not be starting

Many e-scooters have a safety feature that prevents them from starting from standstill. This is to stop you accidentally hitting the throttle, causing the e-scooter to potentially shoot out from under you. 

When you're ready to go, all you need to do is kick-off and push the scooter to walking speed. A single firm push should be enough. 

Once going, simply press the throttle and the motor will kick in.
