How to change between mph and kmh on the Pure e-scooter.

Pure Air Pro (Gen 1)

If you own this e-scooter, simply follow these steps: 

  1. Go to your display unit
  2. Press the top and bottom button together to enter the menu (Light button and Change Mode button) 
  3. Press the middle (ON/OFF) button to change modes, until you see PO2 on the screen 
  4. Use the middle button again to toggle between mph/kph
  5. Press the top and bottom buttons together to exit the menu 
  6. Power down the scooter and turn it back on again 

All Gen 2 Pure E-Scooters

For Gen 2 Pure e-scooters, you can switch between mph and kph using the latest Pure Electric app. 

  1. Download the Pure Electric app from the App or Play store
  2. Connect the app to your scooter
  3. Go to “Profile” in the top left hand menu
  4. Go to “Change unit” 

This will give you the option to switch to kilometres or miles.

Got a new iPhone?

In rare cases, Gen 1 and 2 Pure Air electric scooters are discoverable on the Bluetooth connection screen, but can’t connect successfully. 

This can affect:

  • iPhone 11
  • iPhone 11 Pro
  • iPhone 12
  • iPhone12 Pro
  • iPhone SE (Gen 2)

We’re currently working hard to solve this, but we do have two solutions that could work for you in the meantime: 

  1. Know someone with an Android or older iPhone? If you install the app on their device, you can log into your app account and complete the update. 
  2. You could also visit our flagship store in London, where our helpful technicians will apply the update for you.
