This guide covers both the initial setup and regaining access scenarios for your scooter.
Go to the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android). Important: Do not delete the old app until you have completed all necessary steps.
Locate your scooter within the app: Use the app to find the ZYD code, which is displayed in the MAC Address section under the scooter's settings.
To unlock your scooter use the initial password: 888888 to unlock your scooter. This password is used both for initial setup and for regaining access if you forget your PIN.
Once unlocked, you’ll be prompted to set up your own personal PIN.
If the password does not work, please send us a screenshot of the ZYD code.
You can find this code in the centre of the screen under “MAC Address.” Sending this code helps Pure Electric support assist you in unlocking or resetting your scooter access.
Scooter Locking Information
Once you have full access to the app, you can lock your scooter. Please note the following important information:
Security: Pure Electric always recommends using a high-quality D-lock for securing your scooter. The app lock provides an additional layer of protection, but should not be relied upon as the sole security measure.
Battery Usage: When the app lock is active, the scooter’s battery will remain in use. The power consumption is minimal, but please keep this in mind if your battery level is low and you plan to use the remote locking feature.
What About Generation 2 Scooters And Older?
This app replaces an earlier version that supported both Gen 2 and Gen (+) e-scooters. It is designed exclusively for Gen 2 models, providing improved connection stability and updated support for current firmware.
