Please see the following instructions on how to set up your own PIN.
Go to the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android).
Search for “Pure Electric” and download the latest version of the app.
Locate your scooter within the app:
To unlock your scooter use the initial password:
888888to unlock your scooter.Once unlocked, you’ll be prompted to set up your own personal PIN.
If the password does not work, please send us a screenshot of the ZYD code.
You can find this code in the centre of the screen under “MAC Address.”
Scooter Locking Information
Once you have full access to the app, you can lock your scooter. Please note the following important information:
Security: Pure Electric always recommends using a high-quality D-lock for securing your scooter. The app lock provides an additional layer of protection, but should not be relied upon as the sole security measure.
Battery Usage: When the app lock is active, the scooter’s battery will remain in use. The power consumption is minimal, but please keep this in mind if your battery level is low and you plan to use the remote locking feature.
What About Generation 2 Scooters And Older?
Unfortunately, Generation 2 scooters and older models are not compatible with the new app. However, we are currently testing a system that will allow older generation models to work with our platform in the future.
