Understanding The Pure App – “Generation 2”
Our current Generation 2 app, designed to support scooters manufactured before 2023, will be removed from app stores in March 2026. After this date, the app will no longer be available to download or receive updates.
To ensure uninterrupted access to app features, download the new version and follow the steps below.
Do not delete the old app until setup is complete.
Compatible Models
The Generation 2 app supports the following scooter models:
Pure Air
Pure Air Pro
Pure Air Go
Pure Air Pro LR

Setting Up or Accessing the New App
This guide covers both first-time setup and restoring access after updating the app.
Step 1: Download the app
Pure Gen 2 eScooter App (for Android)
Pure Gen 2 eScooter App - IOS (For iPhone)
This app replaces an earlier version and is designed exclusively for Gen 2 models, providing improved connection stability and updated support for current firmware.
Step 2: Set up your PIN
The name of the device that comes up on the screen when they search/connect to the scooter it will be “PUXXXXXX” where “XXXXXX” is an encrypted PIN.
The new app should unlock a scooter automatically if it was left locked by a previous version.
Step 4: Enjoy use of the app!
Scooter Locking Information
Once you have full app access, you can lock your scooter via the app. Please note:
Security: We strongly recommend using a high-quality D-lock. The app lock provides additional protection but should not be used as your only security measure.
Battery Usage: When app lock is active, the scooter continues to use a small amount of battery. This is minimal, but worth considering if your battery is low.
App Updates
If automatic updates are enabled, the app will update automatically.
If not, you’ll need to download the new version manually and create a new PIN.
Your mileage is stored on the scooter and will carry over after the update.
