What can I expect to happen with the new update of the app?

Both of our previous apps (Gen 2 + Gen 3 Onwards) will be removed from the app store in February and March - download the updated versions to ensure seamless transition

Do not delete the old app until set up is complete

Will my scooter be unlocked after the update?

Any scooters that were locked on the old app will automatically unlock once the new version of the app has been downloaded and connected.

Will I need to create a new PIN?

Yes, for the below models unlock your scooter using the default PIN: 888888

  • Pure Air 3, 4, and 5 models

  • All Escape models

  • All Advance models (including Flex)

  • McLaren models

For all other scooters (Generation 2), follow the guide to set a new PIN here.

How do I find the mileage of my scooter/will I lose this information?

Your mileage is stored on the scooter and will carry over after the update. You can find your mileage of your scooter on the odometer within the ‘details’ page.

My App is not working?

Our old app will be removed from the app store in March;

For the Generation 3 scooters please download:

My App will not locate my scooter?

This can happen if you recently switched from the old Pure app to the new version, or on some Android devices (such as Xiaomi or Poco).

Please try the following steps:

  1. Restart your phone and try again.

  2. If the issue continues, uninstall and reinstall the app. (Ensure to accept all permission requests from the app)

  3. If it still won’t connect, try using a different phone (ideally an iPhone or a different Android brand) to rule out a device-specific Bluetooth issue.

If the problem isn’t resolved, please take a screenshot of the app and let us which model phone you are using and send it to us via our contact form.

Why does my scooter reset to KPH from MPH after locking/unlocking?

This issue happens on Android phones and we are in discussions with the app developer to get this fixed soon.

My PIN is not working?

Can I ride the scooter without my App?

Yes, you can still enjoy full functionality of the scooter without having access to the app. We advise downloading the app in order to get access to features such as your mileage.
