Battery Safety: What to Do in an Emergency

Updated today

πŸ”‹ Battery Care

If you do not plan to use your e-scooter for an extended period, we recommend fully charging the battery at least once a month to help maintain battery health and performance.

⚠️ WARNING

Do not attempt to repair or modify your battery or charger. Any unauthorised repairs or changes to the battery, charger, or firmware will void your warranty and may pose a serious fire risk.

πŸ”‹ Battery replacement must only be carried out by trained and authorised personnel.

🚨 IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE

If your scooter shows any of the following signs β€” smoke, excessive heat, burning smell, hissing or crackling sounds, or leaking/bulging β€” please follow these steps immediately:

1️⃣ Stop using the scooter immediately.
2️⃣ If safe to do so, disconnect the charger and move the scooter outside and away from your home.
3️⃣ Contact emergency services.
4️⃣ Notify us of the safety concern by completing our Contact Form β€” your case will be prioritised.

Your safety is our top priority.
